Today my mum and I continued our shopping, culture and coffee tour in Budapest! We started around the Jewish quarters and slowly walked towards Andràssy Ùt. On the way there we had a coffee at Hotel New York.
Later my mum insisted on going to the Kogart art gallery, which I was very skeptical about, but it turned out to be amazing. The exhibit was in a grand mansion on Àndrassy Street with only Hungarian art that was mostly modern and very unique. My legs were sore after all the walking, so we had lunch at one of our favorite restaurants Comme chez Soi. The restaurant is ideal for all those who need a break in between all the shopping, as it’s just off Vaci Utca.
To finish our great outing, we had our second coffee at McCafé that gave us some energy for the ride home. I can safely say that my mum and I are experts at cafés here in Budapest; everything from low-budget places to the most posh. Thank you mum for taking me out to all these fun places!
